RiftEye Help
Card viewer for Riftbound streams on Twitch and YouTube
Getting started
- Open a Riftbound stream or video on Twitch or YouTube. RiftEye starts by itself when the stream's category or title says Riftbound. On any other video, press ⏻ on the RiftEye button at the top left of the player.
- Wait a few seconds while RiftEye names the cards, then point at any card to see it.
- If the stream shows more than the table (cameras, overlays), press Alt+Shift+B and drag a box around the table or the game board: RiftEye then reads only that part, which is more accurate.
Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+E on/off · Alt+Shift+B table area · Alt+Shift+P side panel ·
hold Alt and drag a box around one card to read it by hand. To change them, open
chrome://extensions/shortcuts (or "change" in the RiftEye menu).
Deck lists from the stream
Open the side panel (Alt+Shift+P) and pick Board. RiftEye writes down each player's deck as the cards show up: legend, chosen champion, main deck and battlefields. A card counts as many copies as were on the table at the same time, at most 3, and cards outside the legend's domains are left out, so the list fills in as the game goes on. Copy list or Download .txt gives a text list in the usual format (Legend / Champion / MainDeck / Battlefields) to paste into Rift Atlas or a deck builder. Runes are listed when rune recognition is switched on.
Common questions
Nothing gets named. If the badge says "⏻ to read this video", the stream isn't marked as Riftbound: press ⏻. Check that RiftEye is switched on for the site (toolbar menu, Sites), and, if you drew a table area, that it covers the cards. After RiftEye updates, refresh the stream tab once.
Some cards are missed or named wrong. Small, blurry or covered cards are hard to read; they are often named a moment later, when the camera shows them better. In the side panel (Alt+Shift+P) you can pick each player's legend or paste their decklist, which makes RiftEye more accurate.
Runes aren't named. Rune recognition is experimental and off by default. Switch on Rune cards in the toolbar menu.
The video stutters. In the toolbar menu, Recognition, set Speed to Light. On computers without a usable graphics card RiftEye works on the processor, which is slower.
Does it work in other languages? Yes: it recognises cards by their artwork, so streams of cards in any language work.
Is the video sent anywhere? No. Recognition runs inside your browser. See the privacy policy.
